WP1 will consider the synthesis and modification of materials for the “case of studies” of the HIC project. The objectives will be to:
- Synthesize different model compounds including conversion-based systems and composites together
with electrically conductive additives to be used in the other WPs. Standard material will also be considered
(commercial LiFePO4 and graphite electrode) in order to understand lifetime decrease of these commune
electrode materials.
- Characterize the synthesized materials both structurally and electrochemically
- Prepare optimized materials based on first project results including modifications of composition and structure for the last test phase of the project.
